Indian Welding Journal (IWJ) (ISSN 0046-9092) is the official journal of the Indian Institute of Welding (IIW-India) being published quarterly since 1968. Volume 53 is being published in 2020. Articles published in it are indexed by Indian Citation Index, EBSCO- USA, Crossref- USA, i-Scholar, and j-Gate. This journal includes selected technical articles published in Welding Journal of American Welding Society.
Articles are invited in the broad areas of welding, joining and cutting for publication in the IWJ as per the following categories:
There is no page charges, and articles are published free of any cost.
Authors will be asked to transfer copyright of the article to the Indian Institute of Welding (IIW-India). To this effect one has to sign and submit a Declaration Form.
Manuscripts of contributed articles submitted under each category will be double-blind peer reviewed. Author(s) will be communicated with the review results, and if needed, author(s) will be required to incorporate necessary changes in the manuscript for final acceptance.
All the contributed articles are plagiarism checked by Crossref system powered by ithenticate. A maximum of 10% similarity content will be allowed to a research paper for publishing in the IWJ.
Articles published in the Indian Welding Journal since Volume 1 1968 are available in i-Scholar and j-Gate platform in the website: http://www.i-scholar.in/index.php/IWJ.
DOI (digital object identifier) is assigned to each research article for easy citation. A typical DOI for a published article of this journal is: 10.22486/iwj/2017/v50/i2/146561.
