The Welding Education Committee of IIW-India will be conducting an on-line Advanced Course on Welding Technology comprising four modules for aspiring Welding Coordinators and other interested welding professionals.
The course content exceeds the scope prescribed in ISO 14731 and is designed for around 100 hours of dissemination covering 39 topics of four modules aligned with the IIW IAB-252 guidelines. The modules are Welding Processes & Equipment, Materials & their behaviour during Welding, Construction & Design, and Fabrication & Application Engineering. Q&A and mock test sessions are part of the Course. The lessons will be delivered mostly during the evening hours on week days with exception on weekends.
The Course will be delivered in a phased manner allowing recuperation time to the participants for assimilating the learnings from each module properly. The fee for each module is Rs. 25,000 + (18% GST) per candidate. Participants who register for all the modules will be given a discount of Rs. 20,000 + (18% GST), to be applied at the time of registration of the last module. IIW-India will provide a participation certificate which should not be misconstrued as a qualification certificate for any purpose. It must be noted that this course is purely for knowledge and competency development.
