SECTOR SKILL ASSESSMENT

 

IIW-India is an Assessment Body under NSDC Sector Skill Councils, Govt. of India`s Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship for  conducting assessments of PMKVY-2 and other schemes as follows:

  1. PMKVY-2:
    i) Short Term Training
    ii) Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
    iii) Special Project
  2. Non Star Scheme
  3. CSR (Corporate Social Responsible) Scheme
  4.   AICTE-(TI) (All India Council of Technical Education – Technical Institute)

For these assessments IIW-India is directly assigned batches from the SDMS portal by various Sector Skill Councils and other agencies. Assessors approved by the Sector Skill Council are assigned for conducting assessments at various Training Institutes/ organizations as advised in the portal.

 

Subsequently the training partners of the sector skill council are informed of the name of Assessor as per the date specified in the portal along with the Testing requirements, equipment and Testing Materials to be kept ready for the assessment. The Testing partner is to confirm their readiness for the assessments, subsequent to which the assessor is deputed for the testing.

 

The assessment results are directly uploaded in the NSDC portal for issue of certificates by the concerned Sector Skill Council under authority of NSDC.

 

It may be noted that IIW-India is the sole Assessment Body in Fabrication for the following Sector Skill Councils:

  1. Capital Goods Sector Skill Council
  2.  Indian Iron and Steel Sector Skill Council
