  Theory question papers to be objective type with four ( 4 ) possible answers.      
  For Basic and Standard level 50 questions to have ( 1 ) right answer. For advanced  level      
  40 questions to have one right answer and 10 questions to have 2 right answers.

B PRACTICAL TESTS      
  1.  Plate and Pipe  Butt / fillet welds metrology –    To size the important weld geometry  parameters X    
  2.   Macro examination of – Plate / pipe / fillet and butt welds – To detect discontinuities and size the same X X  
  3.   LPT & MPT of welds – To detect and size open to surface discontinuities either by carrying out LPT / MPT of weld coupons.   X  
  4.    WPS & PQR – To review and correct mistakes   X X
  5. Study and interretation of a weld drawing     X
  6.  Radiographic interpretation –  To interpret the discontinuities and evaluate the same with given acceptance criteria * for carbon and stainless steels     X
